If you are reading this far, then you must really be looking for the most information possible on a given subject. While the web is truly a wonderful thing, it does not replace books. I wrote this page due to many email requests from web surfers asking for books they might read. I would like to particularly thank the patient recommended books which I have read that I now recommend. The first of these is Numb Toes and Aching Soles: Coping with Peripheral Neuropathy which provides very good information about all neuropathic pain and not just peripheral neuropathy. Another patient with very severe trigeminal neuralgia recommended Striking Back: The Trigeminal Neuralgia Handbook. which is the best explanation of the various surgical and nonsurgical options that I have personally read. An excellent book for patients with migraines is the Migraines for Dummies book. In the interest of complete disclosure, the author does thank me in the acknoledgement section. I have not met the author but she emailed me multiple questions about migraines and apparently found me helpful enough to be mentioned. I also need to thank Dr. Loren Rolak of the Marshfield Clinic, the best MS physician I know, for the recommendations regarding MS books. He recommended the first two and the third one is one which I like for my patients. I was sent an interesting book about one person's own experience with healing from their stroke. He also has interesting ideas on how stroke patients can help themselves heal. It makes for an intersting read. Please check it out in the table below. I was given an interesting book about how epilepsy is viewed around the world. It is listed below. Feel free to send me additional books you feel I should read and recommend to my patients.
For those in the medical profession, I recommend some additional books.
